Deux ex machina

I-mate JAMin

Finalment m'he comprat el JAMin de I-mate. En principi portava uns 5 mesos mirant comentaris sobre el S200 de Qteq, encara que al final m'he decantat per aquest per la diferencia de preu que hi havia enfront de l'altre model (marca? prestacions? aixo en un altre post).

Aixi que he passat pel blog de l'Esteve, que es un feliç propietari d'una K-Jam de la mateixa marca i he mirat quines son les seves recomanacions de "Software basic per la nova pda" (aka Getting started):

• Omap overclock: Innecessari si no volem utilitzar mes que les 4 eines de Microsoft per utilitzar l'agenda, tasques i contactes (cosa absurda, per a aixo et compres un telefon normal), imprescindible si volem utilitzar Skype, Spb Diary + Plus + Weather...
  
• Skype: Ve instal·lat per defecte. Si tenim un telefon i tenim WLAN, tenim trucades gratuites.
  
• Ringo mobile: Permet associar a cada contacte (o a cada grup) un to diferent per a les trucades i per als missatges. Extrany que un Windows mobile 5 per a telefon no porti cap utilitat o aplicacio que faci aixo.
  
• Sbp weather: Plugin per a "Hoy" que permet veure les previsions metereologiques de les ciutats escollides. Falla poc (la previsio) i treu pocs recursos.
  
• Sbp Diary: Plugin per a "Hoy" que permet tenir en la pantalla inicial tota la agenda.
  
• Sbp Pocket plus: Un altre plugin. Aquest permet tenir a ma links a programes, informacio de bateria, modificacio de retroiluminacio, info. de memoria i mes. A mes es pot integrar amb Sbp weather i diary.
  

Software no tan necessari pero igualment recomanat

• Agenda fusion: El millor gestor d'agenda, contactes, notes, etc. que he provat. La resta acostumen a tenir alguna mancança, falla algo... aquesta ho te tot i es altament configurable. Com a contra: mes lent que altres.
  
• Resco explorer: L'he descobert al blog de l'Esteve. Bona alternativa al explorador per defecte. El plugin que apareix es similar al Pocket plus, encara que no permet afegir programes. A destacar l'editor de registre amb el qual podem manipular facilment tota la merda que Windows deixa instal·lada i que no permet esborrar.
